Dr. Abraham Twerski, M.D.
Dr. Abraham Twerski, M.D. is the founder and medical director of the Gateway Rehabilitation Center in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania and has played a vital role in the recovery of more than 40,000 patients. A psychiatrist, rabbi, and chemical dependency counselor, New York magazine calls him a "near mythic figure" among his patients and followers.He served as the Chief of Psychiatry at Pittsburgh's St. Francis General hospital from 1965-1985 and was Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He has authored 30 books on self-esteem development, spirituality and contemporary thought.
Yisroel Roll, MS, LL.B.
Yisroel Roll, MS, LL.B., LCPC-Licensed Clinical Prefssional Counselor-Maryland, is a psychotherapist in private practice in Baltimore, Maryland, specializing in self esteem enhancement. He is the founder of the LIFE Task Force together with Dr. Abraham Twerski, M.D., which promotes self-esteem enhancement at home and at school. Rabbi Roll conducts workshops on Building Children’s Self-Esteem, a Teen Esteem Dynamics workshop and the Self Esteem Diet-A Pathway to Healthy Living. He is a former attorney from Toronto and served as the Rabbi of the New West End Synagogue in London, England where he founded the Encounter outreach organization.
